What is Insomnia?

Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that makes it difficult to fall asleep, stay asleep or get quality sleep. It can also cause people to wake up too early and be unable to fall back asleep,  even if they still feel tired when they wake up. Insomnia can have many causes, including psychological stress, medical conditions or lifestyle factors, and can affect a person’s energy  levels and mood, concentration and memory. 

Most cases of insomnia are related to stress, anxiety, depression, poor sleep habits, lifestyle,  chronic illness or medication side effects.
